I have been very fortunate to meet, and work with, some very talented people through my experiences in photography. It is one of the parts of my work that I really treasure.
Brighton and Hove News
Following my relocation from London to Sussex in 2022, I was lucky enough to connect with the music editor extraodinaire Nick Linazasoro who has to be one of the busiest people in music journalism. I first started shooting gigs for the Brighton and Hove News in 2023, and thanks to Nick’s energetic dedication and passion for live music I have lost count of the phenomenal new acts that I have discovered. It has also been a complete pleasure to meet the talented writers and co-photographers who contribute to the publication. I feel humbled and privileged to work with such skilled and creative people. I am also constantly amazed at the wealth of musical venues and artists we are blessed with in Brighton.
The Photography Squad
We are a group of photographers who met through working together on the Eye on Streatham photography festival.
We set up The Photography Squad in 2022 to create a platform that supports local businesses as well as offering workshops and the opportunity for creative collaborations. Within our first year we enjoyed connecting with two very worthy charities, creating promotional videos for local businesses, providing photography and videography services for a music festival and creating workshops on dance and gig photography.

Chapters Podcast
A concept created, curated and hosted by the ever charming Saabii Boi, this was another exciting new project for me in 2022. The Chapters Podcast adds an extra element to a musicians live performance by incorporating a Q&A into the show allowing the artists to share the story behind their songs. Saabii Boi also creates intimate podcasts taking the listener through the musical journey of his guests. I have been very fortunate to be one of his guests and really enjoyed sharing my personal photographic journey.
Sofar Sounds
For those not in the know, Sofar Sounds brings a very unique gig experience to its audience. Each show takes place in a carefully selected space which could be someone’s living room, an office, an art gallery, a brewery…this list is endless. The ethos is to focus on listening to the music. So attentive silence is requested during the performances of three carefully selected artists. These shows are really magical and have introduced me to so much beautiful new music. It always feels like such a privilege to be taking photos at these events.

Live Expressions
I first met Dion Deverill about ten years ago during one of his Live Expressions nights at Upstairs at the Ritzy. I am happy to say that I continued to be invited along to his events and also had the pleasure of attending the Wyldfest Festival for a couple of Summers that he organised in collaboration with the site hosts. He has such a talent for finding truly memorable artists, each night showcasing six or more artists.
