In my mind I have only been shooting for Brighton and Hove News for a couple of months, but on checking back through my instagram I discover my first post for them was 20th November 2023. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. So I thought it was high time a wrote a little blog about it. The first thing I should say is a huge thank you to the legend that is Nick Linazasoro – music editor extraordinaire, who puts so much time and energy into co-ordinating everything for us photographers and writers. His passion for live music is limitless. The second thing I should say is how privileged I feel to have my images posted alongside the contributions of such talented writers. It has been wonderful to meet such a skilled and passionate team over the last few months. And my final point, and the theme for this piece, is how in love I have fallen with the vast and varied array of live music venues that Brighton has to offer. Mingled in with that, and the subject of my images, is the huge talent that Brighton has to offer every night of the week. Here are just a few that I have managed to capture since November. Please click on the links and explore their music. See you all at the front soon!
